Earlier this week, Vice released a mini-documentary of the Charlottesville violence where a reporter embedded with white supremacist and Nazi marchers, including Chris Cantwell.

Cantwell released some footage of his own after learning there was a warrant out for his arrest.

In the self-shot video, he tells the police, “I’m terrified, I’m afraid you’re going to kill me, I really am.”.

“And I’m watching CNN talk about this as violent, white nationalist protest — we have done everything in our power to keep this peaceful,” he said.

“We are trying to make this peaceful, we are trying to be law abiding.

After a few pauses to pull himself together, a choked up Cantwell claimed “I want to be peaceful, I want to be law abiding, okay?

In the Vice mini-doc, Cantwell boldly stated, “We’re not nonviolent, we’ll f*cking kill these people if we have to.”. »

KKK denied permit to burn cross atop symbolic mountain in Georgia

Georgia’s Stone Mountain park has denied the Ku Klux Klan’s request to burn a cross at the top of the mountain, where the second KKK was founded in 1915.

Joey Hobbs, of the Sacred Knights’ Ku Klux Klan, submitted a permit application request for 20 people to attend a cross-burning on top of the mountain, which is notorious for being tied to the KKK.

“We will light our cross and 20 minutes later we will be gone,” Hobbs wrote on the permit. »

Netflix Plans to Spend $7 Billion on Original Content in 2018

Just days after the Disney turmoil, Netflix’s visionary Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos stated that the streaming leader plans to increase its budget by $1 billion dollars over the next year.
