Paul Rudd is in final negotiations to join Sony’s latest installment of “Ghostbusters.”.

Sources tell Variety Rudd will play a teacher in the film.

Carrie Coon is also in talks for the not-so-secret project along with “Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard and “Gifted” star Mckenna Grace.

Jason Reitman, whose father Ivan Reitman directed the original “Ghostbusters,” will step into the director’s chair.

“I’ve been wanting to work with Paul Rudd since my short film opened for ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ at Sundance.

I’m thrilled he’ll be joining this new chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe,” said Jason Reitman.

Rudd, who’s repped by UTA and Lighthouse Management and Media, is coming off a Marvel-ous stretch with “Avengers: Endgame.” »

Supreme Court blocks Trump administration from adding citizenship question to 2020 census

The US Supreme Court has dealt a blow to the Trump administration's efforts to place a question on citizenship in the 2020 census.

Some had feared that adding the citizenship question would deter undocumented citizens from participating in the census, leading to a predicted undercount of about 6.5m people.

The administration claimed their reason for the question was to help enforce the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in order protect minority voters. »

A Republican member of Congress is trying to de-fund PBS for airing an episode of Arthur that featured a gay wedding.

The long-running children’s cartoon started its 22nd season in May with an episode that showed the characters’ teacher, Mr. Ratburn, marrying another man.
