I was living in Japan during the PSP monster Hunter days. Was nuts so many people playing it on the trains. You could always tell it was MH cause of "the claw. I used to play with some salary man every morning on our way to work. We never spoke a word to each other. Apart from the first day when we sat next to each other and noticed we were playing the same game and he looked at me and said "link" from then on we just had like a silent agreement. We fought many monsters together, sometimes really close to killing but then had to exit train and go our separate ways. Went on for months every morning... and then he disappeared. I like to think he got a promotion and his shift changed but it was very cool while it lasted. We had a connection through gaming that transcended race and language and it was a great way to start another hectic work day.
