Prophecy Games has announced that TRIBES 3 Rivals will hit Steam Early Access on March 12th.

TRIBES 3: Rivals is a team-based first person shooter that elevates the genre with jetpacks, skiing, and class-based warfare.

Its core game mode is CTF (“capture the flag”), which can be played in a competitive or casual format.

The competitive format features teams of 7 v. 7, while the more casual format has larger scale teams of 16 v. 16.

The game will have light, medium, and heavy classes, and players will be able to customize their weapon and ability loadouts.
