ETA. Daniel Molloy, the governor at the time, went to Newtown that afternoon to be the person to tell the families. They were all in a room, the only parents left who hadn't been reunited with their children, and he had to walk in there and tell them that their children were all dead. I read an accounting from someone who was outside, I think it was at a firehouse, and said that the sound from outside of the parents screaming was the worst experience of his life.
