My dad (who is VERY left wing) ended up running into Morrissey outside of one of his concerts and it went absolutely bonkers. My dad started yelling about how Morrissey is using his platform to promote fascist propaganda - and surprisingly, Morrissey actually took the time to come over and address my dad in the crowd. He essentially said "I am a musician and not a politician" - my dad didn't expect the interaction and was sort of speechless until Morrissey started going off about how back in nineteen ninety eight the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.
