Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Sunday posted a Yom Kippur message that included an image of a Hanukkah menorah. She ultimately deleted the image, but legal experts, conservative operatives, and onlookers felt that was not quite enough.

Greene, known for promoting QAnon's conspiracy theories and claiming that "Jewish space lasers" were responsible for wildfires in California, was already in hot water after an offensive comment she made Friday on President Joe Biden's social media post.

On Sunday, the lawmaker posted the following holiday message:

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

"To all those preparing for the solemn day of Yom Kippur, I wish you a meaningful fast. Gamar Chasima Tova!" In an earlier version of the post, it included an image of a menorah.

She deleted the image but kept the message as public. She did not change the text or issue any apology, according to a review of the lawmaker's social media accounts.

Former Trump supporter David Weissman can be found in the comments of Greene's post asking, "Did someone hack your account?"

Brett Meiselas, the co-founder of the anti-Trump SuperPAC MeidasTouch also wrote, "Menorah? Wrong holiday, you anti-Semitic POS."

National security attorney Bradley Moss also noticed the mistake Sunday and posted, "Congresswoman tried to post this message before but included a Hanukkah menorah. She deleted it and gave up on posting an image."

Frank Lesser, identified as a former Emmy-winning writer for Colbert, also added to the discussion.

"Everyone’s making fun of Marjorie Taylor Greene for putting a menorah on her Yom Kippur message, but in her defense she thought it was an eight-pronged Jewish space laser," he wrote.
