This man is standing ramrod straight, holding a heavy camera, his weight supported only by the heels of his stylish two-toned shoes. If this wasn't done in 1932 I would think it was somehow photo-shopped, but according to Wikipedia, Ebbets was an auto racer, a wrestler, a pilot, and a wing-walker. He took chances like this all the time.
