What an incredible evening show this past Wednesday at Mashes Sands Beach in Florida. This location is just south of Tallahassee along the Forgotten Coast! I'm blown away at the light show that mother nature provided as it continued well after sunset. 🤯

A weak frontal boundary lingered across the Forgotten Coast this past Wednesday evening so when I saw storms firing near it in the afternoon, I had to make sure to travel down there before sunset and I'm thankful I did! The sky was incredible shades of orange from the setting sun behind me.

Sony a7iii, Sigma 14mm lens and lightning trigger to capture the lightning in the bright conditions. ISO 100, f/14, 0.4s

That's a beautiful capture my guy! What were the settings which you used? My shots usually come out overexposed

This is sublime. I can smell the salt and petrichor and feel the humidity.
