A new poll out from JL Partners underscores major weaknesses for the three men most likely to be sworn in as president on 20 January 2025, with little good news to soften the blow.

The top two responses from voters describing Mr DeSantis were “fascist” and “unsure”, the latter indicating possible unfamiliarity with his political record or a lack of name recognition.

Altogether, the poll results signaled that Americans are largely unsatisfied with the options they have for leadership over the next half decade.

JL Partners’ survey included responses from 1,000 likely general election voters between 12-15 June. »

A man fell 4,000 feet to his death from a popular tourist attraction walkway in the Grand Canyon, according to authorities in Arizona.

Located outside of Grand Canyon National Park in the Grand Canyon West area, the Skywalk is managed by the Hualapai Tribe, according to the National Park Service.

The Skywalk has seen more than 10 million visitors since 2007, according to the Grand Canyon West website. »

Almost 60% of Swiss voters have backed plans to severely cut emissions by 2050 despite opposition from the right-wing Swiss People's Party.

In a second vote, 78.5% supported a minimum tax of 15% for multinational firms.

Voters also backed adopting a global minimum tax rate of 15% for international companies in a second referendum, with 78.5% in favor of the new, higher rate. »
