Details of this shot: Shot using Poco F3 on Gcam with custom settings. I thought this tree was the perfect candidate to demonstrate the technique of perspective. The phone was held upside down at a 45 degrees angle up the tree to get this look.

-After capturing the shot it was imported into Lightroom where the vibrance was slightly boosted to make the spikes pop a tad bit more.

-All in all it was not a hard shot but the spikes sure where 😅 they hurt a lot too....

In case anyone is wondering this was shot in Trinidad, a country located in the Caribbean.

Fun fact! The tree gets its name from little bowls made from the fruit that were once used to hold fine dry sand.

Neat! Have definitely never seen the likes of it. Where do these beastly trees live?
