It's not closing. The parent company that currently owns it have gone bankrupt but they're making arrangements to sell it to a different company who will keep it open. Just a change in ownership, something that must have happened many times in the history of the place.
Instantly recognised the front! St.Albans, lived there for 8 years. This pub was one of my regular places to go to with friends, the park right next to it was awesome to hang around in.
