That looks incredibly well made. A true service of love. One of those things you’ll hoped have the rest of your life.

Wow, love the tiny details in this. I wonder how long it took him? Phenomenal work.

Figured I should probably post some details. My dad has always been a man who loves to learn. He's a ticketed welder and did that for years. He took a couple years of religious study just to learn about his faith when my parents found religion years ago. He wanted to learn to draw, so he started doing it almost nightly for at least a year. He's done chainmail as well and his wallet is handmade with a handmade wallet chain of course.

About a year to a year and a half ago he took up leather and would always show me the new cuts he had ordered when I was over. He started with simple things like a case for mom's iPad (dyed pink leather obviously) and one for his sunglasses. Then he made a sweet hat for himself lol. Those taught him stitching and cutting. He got a set of tools not long ago that let you stamp patterns into leather with a hammer and so he did a bunch of practicing and then got to work on some belts. Mom's has some beautiful painted blue diamonds on it with a wicked buckle. This is the one he made for me. At Christmas he showed me the strip he had just cut and then he'd sneak off every once in a while to work on it.

I got it yesterday and it's amazing, I just had to share. Thanks for the love!
