When people see pictures of good infratructure in the Nethelrands they oftten think that it was always like that and its too late for their city to do the same. Hoever in actual fact although thte dutch have always cycled a lot they did not really start with the proper infrastructure until more recenelty and put a lot of investment into it. no reason other places cant do the same

Utrecht is a gorgeous city, with the canals and trees and cobbled streets with the soft lighting. If you're in the area I recommend a visit!
