Dog is a Shetland sheepdog. Not that it mattered to us but both his parents were award winners and some of their offspring and he was registered. The breeder wanted him to compete to get some special status for the parents. We were not interested but if we wanted him it was a condition. Maybe it was the food or constant activity but he grew too large for competition. We just wanted a dog. But he did have an amazing coat and tail.
