My dad had polio. He lived his entire life with a stunted leg, requiring a Forrest Gump-style brace on it to walk. He managed but couldn’t run, jump, ice skate, or kick a ball with his sons—one of whom refuses to get vaccinated for a virus that can kill and could mutate into something far more effective at killing if allowed.
