Good for him for doing something. Any breeder who is not working to make the healthiest possible animals with the only other priorities being suitability as pets and working animals, needs to be driven out of business.

French bulldogs are the least healthy breed in existence right now. Being unable to breath properly is only where the issues tend to start. Basically everything that can go wrong with them, does from skin/allergies, to hiatal hernias to joint issues. They are broken already by the time people hand over that $3000 to the breeder. Then they die young. Unfortunately Frenchies are also INSANELY popular right now because in an age where all human knowledge is at your finger tips, people can't be assed to google the dog breeds they're interested in and learn anything beforehand. They just think they're 'cute'.
