How utterly disturbing. I saw the NSFW photos of the grounds after the tanks drove through. Totally disgusting and tragic. And gross as the protesters were smashed to nothing for wanting a little piece of democracy.
Just so everyone is aware, this statue has stood at Hong Kong University for 24 years. This week, it was covered up by plastic sheets and demolished. Apparently, the CCP does not like to be reminded of their shame.
