Lots of people seem to be missing the point of Epstein's whole scheme. Some people knew and were in on it. A whole lot of other people worked with him because he was a philanthropist. The whole point is that if anyone gets caught or rats him out, he has all these people he's associated with, and if they talk about him doing something illegal, he can throw it back at them and claim they were involved even if they weren't. It's very likely a lot of the people he worked with had no idea. He was a scam artist, and apparently a very good one. Every celebrity he associated with added to his smoke screen of legitimacy, and also gave him the possibility of mutually assured destruction if anyone found out about what he was doing and tried to take him down for it. People assuming everyone that knew him was a pedophile are buying into his scheme.

It’s crazy to see how many people knew Epstein, everyone from celebrities, politicians, to just random people I’ve never heard of.
