Isolate your subject (the pumpkin) so the background is further away (or even somewhere open like a field). Shoot with a shallow dof so you get a nice blurred background. You don’t want it against a wall. Also, try using dry ice instead of smoke grenades. You’ll get much better wispy smoke and still be able to see the pumpkin.

It is good but next time try isolating the air flow so you can get more of a clear shot of the object
