Also, wanted to add, I stumbled onto the app JustAhead, it’s a GPS guided audio tour app and the one for Big Bend is free. It randomly gives you history, must see attractions, facts, geology as you approach different parts of the park. Once you download the guide you don’t need cell service for it to work.
Honestly, it was the greatest thing I could have done. It helped me make the best of the 8 hours I had to explore. Highly, highly recommend it if you’re planning a visit!
