EDIT: Holy shit. So...I have a phrase I use: "I understand the words, but I don't conceive of their meaning." Now I understand the phrase "RIP my inbox."
I need to start using "I understand your syntax, but your semantics aren't clear" because my use of the former lead someone that had difficulty communicating clearly to accuse me of being unable to understand "clear communication."
