I remember a story about an Allied bomber getting shot over france and the crew jumped off, one of them survive a 10k+ feet fall too.

PS: seems like other ww2 soldiers survived similar falls too https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Fall\_survivors

Can you imagine just piddling around in your giant Mediterranean-style California mansion high af on medical-grade marijuana and then you hear an absolutely enormous crash and so you go see what it was and some giant thing has smashed a hole clear through the roof and ceiling and is on your floor covered in debris and it’s a freaking paratrooper and he’s alive and he’s British?!

"How durable are these new species?"

"Which new species? The P'recileons? A drop from three times their body height in this gravity will shatter most of their bones."

"No, no, not them. The humans."

"Oh! Uh, lemme see. A drop from two-hundred seventy times their height or higher might kill them."

"Two-hundred seventy?! Wait. MIGHT?! Wait wait. Or higher? How high?"

"This record shows survival from roughly two-thousand seven hundred times the specimen's height with minor injuries."

"... I have decided to approach this planet diplomatically rather than our usual strategy."

"Good call, sir."
