Any Parisian could tell you at a glance that the photo is fake. Not only is it way too green (the city is an overpolluted megalopolis), there are no hills or mountains visible from anywhere in the region. Paris is located in the center of a flat, dull, eventless plain sprawling hundreds of kilometers.
On the comment on Linkedin professionals. Its good to remember that their are some very stupid people making a lot of money and some very smart individuals driving broken down cars to work.

Reminds me of that other failed technology: the bicycle.
https://techxplore.com/news/2021-04-graveyard-bikes-china-share-cycle-scheme.html
Just google some combo of "rideshare bike mountain graveyard." China went insane with every kind of rideshare from cars to bikes.
This one has better pics. https://www.theatlantic.com/photo/2018/08/china-abandoned-bike-share-graveyards/566576/
Can't blame the technology for bad business decisions.
