In highschool I had an opportunity to do a radio ad for our school. I was amazed no one else wanted to do it. My teacher and I left to go to a local radio station and the the person that engineered the session was a local DJ that I knew from his radio show. I read the script in their recording booth and it started off pretty rough but the DJ said "It may feel stupid but smile while you read; It'll help you" I did and I could feel everything start to become more natural and confident sounding. Now I'm a videographer and I give this piece of advice on a regular basis to talent. It seems to have a subliminal effect but a positive one.

Number 15: “Arouse an eager want in the other person.” How delightfully specific. Am I supposed to show them a bit of leg or something?
