I don’t know why I was surprised how small it was, for some reason I always thought it was a huge portrait and you do have to wade through a bunch people to get up to it to be able to see it which did kind of reduced the experience.

When I went there, I was more impressed by the wall-sized Wedding at Cana opposite to the Mona Lisa. Much nicer viewing experience too.
