Years ago GenerikB said in one video how he doesn't like the clickbait etc, but just a few months later he slowly started with more clickbaity titles, fabricated thumbnails etc. Drifted fully into the algorithm chasing and the content changed with this.
For comparison theres EthosLab who still just uploads his series episode by episode.

Social media did this to a lot of my favorite musicians. Hearing their thoughts on a daily basis just ruined them.
