Data source: July 1, 2020 population estimates by the U.S. Census Bureau that were released in May 2021.

There are another 19 counties that each have a population total that is at least 90% of Wyoming's population--including Douglas County (Nebraska), Lancaster County (Pennsylvania), Dane County (Wisconsin), Summit County (Ohio), and Guilford County (North Carolina).

I could imagine how empty most of the state is
