A cop attempted to pull me over on a one lane road with no shoulder. There was a tiny strip of land right next to a ditch. I didn’t feel comfortable pulling over there so I drove a minute up the road to a gas station. The cop proceeded to scream at me about not pulling over as I feebly attempted to explain why I waited until the gas station. I now realize that apparently I got off lucky with my ticket.
Even if she hadn’t been doing exactly what you are supposed to do, this would be entirely unreasonable. Endangering literally every single driver on a highway by flipping a car is not an appropriate response to any traffic violation.

Dashcam video, obtained by Harper's legal team, appeared to show her slowing, activating her blinkers and changing lanes to the right, so she could eventually pull over, Norwood said.
