Tried to join a discord and the mods wanted a picture of my ID to prove I wasn’t a kid, they claimed it wasn’t any more invasive than showing it to get into a bar. Giving a permanent photo of my ID to a stranger is much more invasive than handing it to someone that I’m standing right in front of.
