Had an interview for a job at a major university. I was told to prepare a PowerPoint presentation as to how I would handle all of the duties and responsibilities of the role. The panel I presented to absolutely were blown away by what I brought to the table and didn't know they could do certain things that I had mentioned. They called me the following week to let me know they offered the position to a candidate already in their office but loved my ideas and would impliment them. I was just used as a "you're just here because we legally have to offer this role to the public but are giving it to someone within..... I fucking hate job hunting.
