There's a big difference between in vitro trails aka lab stuff and human aka in vivo trials. What happens in a lab might not work in a living organism. So many more factors are at play in the living specimen and it may cause more harm than good, or be ineffective due to other metabolic things happening in the body.

Edit: so what I'm saying is if this disappears from public view it might not be because someone is trying to throttle it because of big pharma and doctors actually wanting to harm people, and it's more likely that it just doesn't work in living animals and/or is harmful. Also we've seen how much money big pharma makes on chemo... They'd make even more on something like this.

I've worked in health care for 6 years and what I've seen across the board is people who genuinely want to help people and everyone o gets so mad that patients suffer because of money. And insurance.
