I took this photo, printed it on canvas, cut the wood for the frames (42 pieces), stretched the canvas (600+ staples!), and attached the panels together with brushed steel spacers, a format I've been refining for the last couple years. What do you think?

I've been making "hexagon clusters" for a couple years, but continue to experiment with new ways of mounting them together as one solid piece of art. This is my latest attempt, using some brushed steel spacers.. I'm liking the way it turned out.

Reminds me of the James Webb space telescope. Hence it works well for astrophotography
