They should just change the title to "what happens when people with tons of money do illegal shit to make more money but suddenly are about to lose that money?"
Yeah the naked short selling and the ways shorts are abused needs to be addressed. I have dabbled in small amounts of shorts before when I genuinely felt something was overvalued, not to bankrupt the company or even for a huge profit, just to try it out mostly. When the price got to what I would have thought fair I bought to close my short position. It did feel kind of dirty doing it. Maybe that's why they can't stop, feels so dirty to them they get a rush from it.
