Ovarian cancer took my mom. I recently revisited her social media feeds (weird part of dying these days is you have this strange relic of your existence that lives on, a sort of digital ghost) and spotted this quote she posted sometime after being diagnosed with terminal cancer; “at some point you have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening”. Be well and live like we all should.

You swapped your cancer for a yummy dessert? This is the best trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever. Congratulations!

Congratulations on beating cancer, from another person who got out alive.
