I frankly don't believe most climate change deniers argue in good faith, I believe many of them are aware that they're bullshitting to some extent.
It's not possible for someone to pretend land ice melting won't raise the sea, unless they're wildly ignorant(possible) or boldly dishonest; the kind of people you will look you in eye and lie, and in the next moment start talking about integrity and family values....
Dull or dishonest.
I can understand how many of them wouldn't know that water expands with increased temperature, but after explaining specific volume I still get denial, which adds to why I don't believe they take their stance in good faith.
