I’m not trying to burst any bubbles here. This photo is beautiful. But I need to point out that the opaque organ in the middle of its mantle that some here might think is the brain is likely it’s stomach/digestive organs. An octopus central brain (3 parts) is located roughly between the eyes and more than half of its total neurons are distributed through its tentacles. Each of those tentacles is capable of acting autonomously, with the central brain acting like a team captain. Amazing creatures.
