Mum passed away a couple of weeks ago. Decided to start GoW on a whim. Went in completely blind, did not realise the whole plot revolved around a mother's death. Just finished it. I don't usually cry, but this ending hit differently. Therapeutic. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Santa Monica

My mom passed a few years before this game but I finished it on Mother’s Day so there were tears.

I lost my dad just over 6 years ago. Some people say how it gets easier and that's not totally accurate. Each day will get a bit easier, then there'll be a hard few. Then some good ones, then a really bad one. You get the picture. I still tear up with new Star Wars movies (my dad loved them) or if I hear a song he liked. There will be more good days than bad, but there are always things that will remind you of loved ones. Eventually those things make you smile too.

Lost my mom to covid this year too. GoW is a beautiful game about a mother's love past her death. She's still with you bro
