At the start of Covid lockdown last year, I was depressed and heading in the wrong direction. Spent the year getting my health back in line and was able to stop taking anti depressants along the way. Feel good again!

Proud of you! Losing weight is hard, and getting off anti-depressants is harrrrrrrrd. I’m inspired :) thanks for sharing your personal win.

Hey, good for you! I'm glad you're doing better and feeling better, worth celebrating.

To anyone else reading and taking antidepressants though: if they're working for you, keep taking them. Medication for mental illness is not a weakness or shameful and is not something you should feel you need to stop.

You wouldn't stop wearing glasses to see just because in an ideal world you wouldn't need them. Don't stop taking your antidepressants if that's what's letting you function better.
