As the rules for most UK car parks state that the "Ticket must be clearly displayed", this becomes a very stupid way to get a ticket.

Don't try this in, say... Philadelphia. You'll stand in a queue for half an hour to pledge them your first born and an organ of their choosing to get your car back after they hook it up and drive it to the Yard of Doom.
