Every other day, same convenience store, same products, same back and forth conversation, same “have a great rest of your day...”. There’s comfort in the little niceties.
My husband and I take weekly trips to a 7-11 for drinks and snacks, and there's a man there who I'm not sure if he owns the place or just manages. But he's my favorite. Super nice, always says hi. Since the pandemic started, we wanted to make sure he was still getting customers. He always checks up on us to make sure we're okay, and he learned both our names after maybe the third visit when we first moved here in mid-2019. Great guy
