I was out in the park with a friend, it was quite warm so she decided to wear a (slightly revealing) spring dress. This old couple walks past us, politely greets us and the old man starts to use the "she's basically asking for it" line too.
I was speechless, my friend didn't know what to say either as it was an old man. His wife even nodded in agreement.
I love how this “defense” assumes men have absolutely no control over their own sexual urges. Like they’re just dumb animals like bears at the zoo. Who also get to vote.
