That's actually really cool and a neat idea for anyone. One day I would like to build an earthship and will definitely keep this in the back of my mind. Thanks for sharing!

This concept also makes a good camping light. Instead of carrying both a headlamp and a table lamp, just lie a clear water bottle on the table and put your headlamp at the end so it shines through.

Whats the purpose of the bleach though? Does it help diffuse the light in every direction? does it keep the water clear? Does it stop the build up of algae, insects or bacteria in the bottle? Did i just answer my own question three times?
