I remember when “Papa John” (a real pos) challenged people that if he were forced to provide benefits or pay a decent wage, the price of each pizza would have to go up 50 cents to pay for it. Polling showed huge majorities of people said “Okay, seems fair. Sign me up.”
I think whenever we talk about a specific business and how that business treats it’s employees, we should always include what that business’s net profits were for the previous year.
