First of all sorry for the formating. I'm on phone and to be honest even if I was on computer I don't know how to do it since I never post this kind of stuff. Also sorry for any grammar mistakes because English isn't my first language.

A little over a year ago I decided to track where all my money goes and it's time for a yearly review of our beloved 2020.

I live in Slovenia and I have I would say an average salary for this country. The numbers might not be huge like in some other countries but I live a normal life with my SO and our daughter and we are doing just fine.

I used Spending Tracker app on my phone to input every € I used and got in last year and I used SankeyMATIC to make the diagram.

I made around 900€ more last year than I spent. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Enjoy

Edit: I feel that I have to clear something up. The 21k that I made wasn't from salary alone. My SO gives me something every month since I pay for bills and food so she doesnt have to deal with it. It works better for us this way.

Edit2: A lot of you are commenting on how little I spend on my child. This is just clothes, shoes and toys. She has plenty of everything at home. We pay 160€/month for kindergarten that is included in Bills. Also she doesn't use dipers anymore and her toothpaste isn't very expensive.

Edit3: Another frequently asked question is about rent. We don't pay any because we have a tiny appartment that was her before we met. We renovated it and moved in 3 years ago. FYI the rent in our town is somewhere from 250-400€ per month.

Edit4: Wow this blew up!(I was always hoping to say that one day lol) Thanks to everyone for awards and I'm glad that you liked my post. I feel like I have to adress one last thing. Some people are saying how my SO is living off me. Out of 21k that I got this year almost 5k came from her. And thats despite her not having job for 3 months. Also my child is loved and happy and to be honest that number should be even lower. Baby clothes here are very cheap and her closet is bigger than mine. Thanks again to everyone, I really had fun answering your questions. I will do the same next year and go into a little more detail. Happy new year everyone:)
