"Normalize shutting the fuck up" is the funniest thing I've seen on reddit all week.

Why the fuck did this get so many upvotes

I hate how people think writing a sentence over and over again makes their post seem more “woke”

This sorta stuff really irks me since my ex was a former sex worker who tried to shame and belittle me for telling her I wouldn't be 100% comfortable with her going back on onlyfans (she had stopped by the time we got serious). Some people are gonna be uncomfortable about their partners body being on display for others. Its natural and no amount of "normalizing" can change that. Some people are fine with it, and thats normal and natural too. But both feelings are valid. You can't scream "normalize being happy and feeling secure" and expect peoples feelings to change just cause you want them to.

Date people who are fine with it. Or if you really want to be with someone whose against it, have a serious conversation, try to work out boundaries/compromises to find something youre both comfy with and be ready to reassure them. Deciding its your choice alone, is a sign you aren't respecting your relationship with them. And speaking from both common sense and experience, is gonna severly damage your relationship.

All that said, don't date a stripper or something and demand they stop. Cause thats obviously fucking stupid. Also sorry if this went into a little bit of a tangent/off topic.
