Outgoing president Donald Trump has sparked confusion after announcing a press conference outside the car park of small landscaping firm ‘Four Seasons’ in Philadelphia.

The incumbent president announced several times on Twitter there would be a “big press conference” held by his lawyers in Pennsylvania today.

“Lawyers Press Conference at Four Seasons, Philadelphia. 11:00 A.M,” the president tweeted on Sunday morning.

At first, it appeared the president was referring to the four-star hotel in the city but Mr Trump quickly clarified the location with another tweet reading: “Four Season’s Landscaping!".

He then sent out a third tweet, which read: “Big press conference today in Philadelphia at Four Seasons Total Landscaping — 11:30am!”

Turns out he didn’t mean a Four Seasons hotel…but a landscaping business called Four Seasons Total Landscaping.

Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani proceeded to address the media in the press conference, telling journalists the incumbent president would not be conceding the election.

The less-than-presidential location quickly went viral on Twitter.

Many suspected that the Trump campaign had mistaken the business for the world-renowned Four Seasons hotel chain but instead of correcting the mistake, they had chosen to run with it. This hasn’t been confirmed by Donald Trump’s campaign team.

One person tweeted, “did this man’s entire presidency just end in a landscaping company’s parking lot.”

While another person wrote, “The president’s legal team held a press conference in a landscape company’s parking lot? Next to a sex shop?”

“This is not over. For we shall mount our righteous stand at Four Seasons Total Landscaping. Next to Fantasy Island Adult Books. Across the street from the Delaware Valley Cremation Center. Between the fire extinguisher and yellow hose,” another joked.

I want to know who it was at the Four Seasons Landscaping that

—heard that the Trump campaign wanted to hold a press conference in his parking lot

—realized they had mistaken him for a hotel

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the Trump campaign had intentionally booked the business for the press conference when he sent out the announcement to his 88.5 million Twitter followers.

Daniel Bush, a political reporter at PBS ‘News Hour’ claimed the business told him that the “Trump campaign contacted them today out of the blue ahead of the Giuliani presser and said their location was close to an exit on I95, and was secure, and that’s why they wanted to use it.”

The I95 is an Interstate highway running from Miami, Florida to Houlton in Maine.

In case you missed it, the Trump campaign called a press conference this morning in the parking lot of "Four Seasons Total Landscaping" in Philadelphia. The assumption is that they meant to book the Four Seasons hotel but made a mistake and just went with it. Seriously. https://t.co/K0w7wqoUs1 — BILL OAKLEY (@thatbilloakley) November 7, 2020

Mr Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani had been in the middle of the press conference when he was told Joe Biden had won the 2020 election.

“Who was it called by?” Mr Giuliani asked when a reporter told him the news.

When the reporter said “all” the major cable news networks had called the race, Giuliani responded sarcastically: “All of them! Oh my goodness! Wow, all the networks! We have to forget about the law, judges don’t count!”

Like the president, Mr Giuliani has made baseless claims about widespread voter fraud and election-rigging. He will be representing the president as he makes several legal challenges in key battlegrounds across the country.

Following the press conference, Four Seasons Total Landscaping posted on Instagram thanking the police for their participation in the press conference.

“Would like to thank the fabulous Philadelphia men and women in blue making this event a safe place. 💙💙,” they wrote.

The company’s Instagram bio describes the firm as a “woman-owned, minority business… that does great landscaping & perfect snow removal” and is “trying to make America green again!”

Someone pointed out that the conference was delayed 30 minutes and that the drive from the four seasons hotel to the landscape company was 24 minutes. Lol

This is the crack legal team that's going to over turn the election? I don't think Joe has much to worry about

A manure store next to a dildo shop. They should build his library right in between.
