I love that. I worked in NY for a while and was so intimidated by the building cafe's mess of counters and lines that it took me a solid 3 months before working up the nerve to even try to get lunch there
The pandemic sucks and all and it's horrible about people getting sick and dying but a tiny selfish sliver of me is grateful for the lockdown because I have mid-functioning autism and also speech difficulties and ordering at a counter or a drive-through is impossible. The rise of apps and online ordering is a godsend for me. For the first time in my life I ordered cool fancy coffee from Starbucks. This is the first time it's felt like the world was made with someone like me in mind. I'll be happy when we get COVID taken care of but I'll kind of miss lockdown.
