I am curious as to whether or not the carpet played a factor in either the success or demise of this design. You can see the pressure in the indentation or the carpet.
Did you ultimately end up crashing it? Did you repeat the design to rule out sheer luck?

I see that you have placed the weight on the top of the truss bridge, will it hold the same weight on the decking?
