When I was young my husband and I were invited to a "Dress to Dazzle" party and were told to "make of it what you wish". We thought "yay, fancy dress!" and turned up as a shiney-suited space girl with a purple curly wig and a sultan, complete with curly toed slippers and a huge turban. Everybody else was dressed in perfect evening dress. We had the time of our lives because everyone thought we were so funny! Our friends have never let us forget that night.
